Ljubljana International Airport Parking

Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) has a Multi Storey Car Park garage and an Open Air Parking divided into 2 parking lots. 

The Multi Storey Car Park has over 1,300 parking spaces and it is located right in front of the passenger terminal. 

Park 2 has over 900 parking spaces and is located on the left hand side of the terminal, next to main street Kranj-Mengeš in the direction of Spodnji Brnik. 

Park 1 is currently closed, at the time of writing, due to construction of the extension of the passenger terminal and is expected to reopen with 250 new parking spaces during the second half of 2021. 

Drop Off Area is intended for dropping off and picking up passengers and is located right in front of the passenger terminal.

General information about parking at Ljubljana Airport

• The parking fee charge begins from the moment the vehicle passes the entrance barrier to the parking area and is settled before exiting.
• Parking fee settlement is made through the cashier’s office during its opening hours or the parking machines located in the different parking areas.
• The cashier’s office opening hours vary and are changed every 15 days. 
• The cashier’s office is situated inside the parking garage.
• You have 15 minutes to leave the parking area after the fee is settled.
• The exit ticket received when settling the fee is necessary to leave the parking area.
• A four-week parking fee is charged in the case of loss of entrance parking ticket as well as for abuse of the parking ramp system.
• Parking vouchers issued by contractual partners such as travel agencies can only be redeemed at the cashier’s office during their opening hours.
• Invoices for parking can only be issued when paying at the cashier’s office and the cashier needs to be notified before payment is settled together with the company details.
• A lost parking ticket for the Drop Off Area holds a charge of 100 €.
• Frequent users of the Drop Off Area may order a parking credit card which allows for prepayment of the parking fees.
